The World’s Longest Surfing Wave at Chicama Peru

The modest coastal town of Puerto Chicama , inward northwestern Republic of Peru , is domicile to the longest , the most perfect , left-breaking moving ridge inward the world. Here , the moving ridge stretches for nearly 2.2 km from the betoken —an isolated rocky outcrop where the moving ridge breaks— to a long pier on the barren coast , where the moving ridge ends. Locals confirm that the entire distance has been ridden on a unmarried wave. The whole cape upon which the waves interruption , to their most westernmost terminate , is truly four km long , although no 1 has always ridden it for that distance.
