The Brand New Island of Surtsey
IcelandLocated nearly xxx kilometers off the southern coast of Republic of Iceland , lies the small-scale isle of Surtsey. It is ane of the world's youngest isle alongside an historic catamenia but over 50 years.
Like all islands , Surtsey was conceived inwards an underwater volcanic eruption which began at a depth of 130 meters inwards the Norwegian Sea. Molten lava kept piling upwards at the bottom in addition to a mound began to rising , until it broke the surface on fourteen Nov 1963 , in addition to the isle was officially born.
