In the slowly Georgian era , Britain’s urban population began to grow quickly every minute the country’s economic scheme shifted from agricultural to industrial. Many people left their province homes to pursue life inwards ane of the newly developing industrial towns. To identify these industrial workers nearly their workshops as well as manufactories , a novel type of low-cost , high-density housing was developed—called the back-to-backs.
